John was on his way to a physical therapy appointment for a prior injury when he was struck while walking across the parking lot by a car. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and then was in a convalescent care facility. John had a very good recovery.

 

One of our attorneys went to the accident site and was able to obtain a copy of the videotape from the parking lot that showed our client getting hit by the car. The insurance adjuster representing the person that hit our client indicated that our client walked out in front of their insured's car and therefore it was John's fault.

 

We refused to provide a copy of the videotape to the insurance company until we agreed to mediate this case. Once we showed the insurance adjuster the videotape, for the first time, the adjuster gasped and then agreed to pay our demand which was multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our client was thrilled at the outcome.
