Sidney's Story

Sidney parked her car in the Metro-North commuter parking lot before attempting to catch a train into New York City. Because it was early in the morning and the parking lot was improperly lit she slipped and fell on ice and fractured her leg. We immediately got involved and contacted our private investigator and our premises liability expert.

We submitted a claim against the responsible parties, after conducting a title search of the property to determine who the owners were, and we were met with numerous objections and defenses whereby the parties denied liability and took the position that they were not responsible.

After extensively litigating this case and deposing various parties all agreed to have the case mediated and we were able to convince the various parties that they were responsible for our client's injuries and damages. They paid a significant amount of money to resolve Sidney's case just prior to trial.
