Waterbury CT Man Fatally Injured In Oxford CT Car Accident - Collision to Driver's Side Door
Gerald Bourgoin, 56-years-old, from Waterbury, CT and his passenger, Sheila Hernandez, also of Waterbury, were both transported to Waterbury Hospital following a collision with another vehicle on Route 67 this past Monday, January 28, 2013. Gerald Bourgoin was pronounced dead at the hospital. Sheila Hernandez was treated for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening.
This Oxford CT Car Accident crash occurred when Bourgoin was driving west on Hawley Road. he had stopped at a stop sign and then turned right onto Route 67. As he proceeded north toward the Southbury town line, Bourgoin's car was struck in the driver's side door. The other vehicle was operated by Donald Ansaldo, of Milford, CT. Bourgoin's car spun 180 degrees. Bourgoin had to be extricated from the car.
