Fatal North Haven CT Accident Leaves Male Driver Dead and Female Passenger Seriously Injured- A crash happened in North Haven around 10 p.m. on the southbound side of the Interstate Highway 91 on Sunday night. The driver, 24-year-old David Cooley, of North Haven, was killed. His passenger, Paige Camera, 24, of Meriden, is in critical condition. Cooley was driving the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier that belonged to Camera in the left lane when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree off the right side of I-91. North Haven firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to remove Cooley and Camera from the wreckage of the automobile. Neither Cooley nor Camera were wearing their seat belt at the time of the accident.
Both occupants of this North Haven CT accident were transported by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital. At the hospital, Cooley was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash. Camera was listed in critical condition and placed on life support.
