Durham CT Pedestrian Accident Turns Fatal

Shortly after 6:00 pm on Wednesday evening, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle along Route 79 near Sand Hill Road in Durham, CT. The woman struck in this Durham CT pedestrian accident whose name has not been released by police, was a Durham resident. She sustained serious injuries and was transported to Middlesex Hospital in critical condition.

Sadly, just after 7:00 pm on Wednesday, the woman died due to injuries sustained in the Durham CT pedestrian accident.

The driver of the Jeep that struck the female pedestrian stopped and is cooperating with police.
