A motor vehicle accident caused by driving the wrong-way on I-95 in New Hampshire on Monday has left the female driver dead. Rose M. Vitiello, 56, of New Haven, the wrong way driver, was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital after hitting 3 vehicles, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Vitiello's vehicle, a 2010 Chevy Aveo, collided with a car near exit 3. The car that was hit rolled over but the female driver was able to escape with minor injuries. The Chevy continued to travel and hit a second vehicle. The driver of this vehicle was not injured. Vitiello struck a third vehicle head on and the driver of that vehicle was treated for minor injuries and released.
