Danbury, Connecticut:
An adjunct professor at Western Connecticut State University was injured Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2011, when he was hit by a car while crossing White Street outside Litchfield Hall.
The professor, from Berlin Connecticut, was in the crosswalk when he was hit by the car just before 1:30 p.m., campus police said. The Professor was bleeding from the face and suffered a fractured right wrist.
Police had no information later that evening night about the driver of the vehicle that hit him.
